South Padre Bound!!

Yep! Headed south once again! I absolutely love spending the summer at South Padre! In this particular area I was able to see a couple of dolphins cruisin' in and out of the ocean. They were just beautiful!

I'll be trying to teach both of my children how to ride bikes this summer. I'm kind of having a rough time with it. So I could sure use some helpful hints. I haven't been successful in the past but am determined to succeed this time!!

Loads of sunshiny smiles to everyone!

Love,

Countrygirl

Sandra! Its good to see your've been keeping well. Something going round on bikes? I just bought a bicycle not 2 weeks ago! Learning to ride is just something we have to learn for ourselves. Guidance will help but ultimately, it will be up to the person to learn.

Lots of hugs...

Hey Dive! Thanks! I appreciate your words of encouragement! You are so right. I was the last to learn in my family but I was also the youngest. I learned to ride a bike when I was about 9 years old. I remember having to realize that I just needed to be willing to learn on my own and practice and it worked! My son needs the determination that my daughter has to learn. I am not going to give up this time! I'm going to be positive!

Lots of hugs and smiles,

Hi Sandra!

I still haven't learnt to ride a bike! Mind you I can't roller blade/skate or ice skate either. I think I'm too terrified of falling.

I did try when I was 6, we lived in a pub and some of the regulars helped me ride my bike up and down the darts throw! Still didn't work ;)

I'm sure your little ones will be fine, children nowadays have no fear.

Sending love and hugs as always

wow, a dazzling blast of sunshine whenever i drop by this blog!!!
sandra, lovely to be back... n lovely to be greeted by your light filled shot! thanx!

well, let the kids do it on their own... really, a natural sense of balance and harmony is something that is inbuilt within most of us, esp as kids... so, surely they'll do fine once they get the hang of it all... with minimal help from the adults... all the best! :o)

Hey Dintoons!

Loved your blast of positive comments!!

You are so right! My son did grasp the concept of balance finally and with little help from Mom. He's riding his bike beautifully now. He learned while at South Padre this summer. I am so proud of him!

Thanks so much for always being so sweet! All the best! :0)

Hey Rachel!! It's sooo awesome that you check in on me! I know...I don't know what happened...all of a sudden I just haven't had a chance or the urge to snap something to post. Hopefully I can post something new for ya! Enjoy the snow! My brother invited us to spend Thanksgiving with him in Denver. Hopefully we'll be able to make it. I'll be checking in on you as well!

Take care always!,

Hi Sandra! Its been a while since i logged in to blogger or post anything worthwhile. Am missing your warm greetings though. Hope that all is well and the recent elections will bring a new era of goodwill and prosperity not just to the Americans but globally. You can't imagine the level of Obama-mania here even though we are not affected directly by the US Admin Office.

Lots of love & sunshine your way.

Hey Dive! Yes, we are "diving" into a new era with Obama as President! It's exciting! I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of change is ahead for us. I agree, the change needs to be seen globally. I'm missing you too! You continue to be a wonderful, kind and thoughtful person.

Sunshiny smiles headed your way!

Love,
