Sunset in Rio Grande City, Texas!
Last Friday we drove to Rio Grande City to watch a football game. The weather was beautiful. It was just cool enough for a light sweater and a light blanket. It was an exciting game! I've been carrying my camera with me everywhere and looked up at the sky that night at the game and loved the colors of the sunset and tried to snap a photo of it. These two snapshots came out okay. I hope you guys and gals enjoy the new posts! Enjoy! Bye! ;)

What gorgeous colors! You did good at capturing the essence of the sunset. Well done Sandra! Thanks for sharing the lovely scenery.
You know what, Sandra ... if I take your sunset pics and my sunset pics and mix thm all up, we won't be able to tell the difference although yours are taken in Texas and mine taken half a world away in Malaysia. Makes me feel so connected. Thanks so much for sharing the gorgeous colours.
Hi Divemuster!! You are way too kind to me! Thanks for your kind words and for always being so sweet to me! And you are very welcome! There just hasn't been too much that has sparked my interest to photograph. I just pulled from what I had. Thanks again! Take care! Bye! ;)
Hi Ladyhawk!! It's so great hearing from you! I greatly appreciate your compliments! Thanks so much for your lovely and inspiring words! What a wonderful feeling to be able to be so far away and yet still be able to feel so connected! You are so very welcome! I'm so glad you are continuing to enjoy my pics...makes me feel so happy!
Amazing colours. But what caught my eye was/were the silhouettes of the people on the walkway! Very clever photo Sandra. The main focus is the colour, but there are so many other details in there!
Lots of love and a gazillion hugs

Hi Whisky!! Thank you so much! I did think that the stadium shot was pretty cool because of the people. The people are the Rio Grande City fans. I'm so glad you are enjoying the new posts! Take care! Bye! ;)
Lots of love and a gazillion and one hugs to you, too, my friend!!

I especially like the second one. Great color shot. And, like Whiskey pointed out, many more details are their if you start looking.
