Lopez, La Vernia, Texas...Although I am not a photographer by any means, I do take pleasure in snapping photos so I thought I would try a shot at sharing some pics and also share some thoughts about myself and my family at the same time. I happen to know two very sweet and dear people who have a true passion for photography and have taken some fabulous photos and their links are posted here. I truly admire their talent and appreciate their encouragement for me to try something new. I admire them immensely and would love to possess even the teeniest bit of their talent! Thanks you two! So about me... a girl who grew up out in the country in the outskirts of San Antonio, Tx in a small town called Elmendorf, Tx. I grew up in a humble family of 6 who lived on 33 acres. Let me tell you it was the best! My parents grew their own fresh fruits and vegetables. We used to have an orchard of plum trees. It was the best being able to go and pick a plum to eat right off the tree...yum! I'll always be proud of where and how I was raised and will never lose my love for living out in the country! My dream is to live out in the country again someday!

Hi Sandra. The sunrise is beautiful. I usually don't wake up early enough to catch sunrise but I have you to thank for letting me enjoy the splendour of sunrise.

Hi Divemuster!! I, on the other hand, do wake up early enough but, unfortunately, I am never able to enjoy the sunrise. :( . There are always too many things to do and places to be and there's not much of a view from any of my windows anyway. The only place I might be able to catch a pic is while I'm already at work but there haven't been too many perfect moments as of yet. I so dearly love hearing from you guys!! Hi Whisky!!! I know...I am sooo dearly missing the comments you had posted on that Georgie post! It's okay. My dear friend was just taking care of me and I am so grateful to him for that. I didn't get permission to post those pics. Just wait...that day is going to come when I finally do get my BEAR HUG from my Georgie and I am going to have someone take a pic of us and I will post that one! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I've seen him in concert a couple of times but I was too far way and it was a looonnnggg time ago. OMG, if I could just get my chance to go now with my camera...oh forget it kiddo! I think I'm going to add his link again and his picture will be there for you to see...heehee. That should be okay, right? I know that he usually performs at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Tx. and that's my hometown ( well, the outskirts of it...close enough to consider it my hometown also) and I've never even seen him in concert there. Okay...I think I soooo deserve to go see him and get my BEAR HUG and my pic! I am sooo going to as soon as I get the chance to!! Don't be mad at my friend...he's just taking care of me and I appreciate that! Love ya!
