Tiny Blossoms That Smell Sooo Good!!
I absolutely love the beauty and the scent of jasmine!! I adore jasmine!! It also happens to have some sentimental value for me as well!! It's a constant reminder of fond memories I hold deep inside. Every year I anxiously await for these tiny little blossoms to appear! I get the best feeling inside everytime I smell the scent of the jasmine. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! ; )
An early HAPPY EASTER to everyone!!!

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for commenting in my blog. These photos are great, especially that top one. It looks kind of like a propeller! Can't wait to see more.
Hi Bruce!! You are very welcome!! Wow!! You are way too cool!! I loved reading your response to my comment on your post! ; ) I, too was teased about my height and called a "giraffee" and Too Tall Jones. I was taller than all of the boys in Jr. High...heehee! Anyway, maybe that's why, I too, can appreciate the giraffee's so much.
Thanks so much for the compliment and for wanting to see more! Your thoughts are greatly appreciated! ; )
Smiles to ya from Texas!,

I will checking in on you fellow giraffian! ; )
Your pics are getting better and better! I really like the top one. Sometimes it's a great idea to zoom in to your subject, cut everything else out, and just focus on one thing- like inthis case, just the flower. Great shot!!
Hey Sandra! These are great shots! I'm going to try and grow jasimine this year. We'll see if it works. If it keeps snowing here in CO nothing is going to want to live heehee. It was 21 degrees yesterday and will be 60 today. Its amazing we can grow anything here! LOL

Hi Rachel!! Crazy weather you are having, huh? I know, this is the first time since I've had my children, that we didn't get to have an Easter Egg Hunt outside because it was 40 degrees and wet! ; ( Very unusual for our area! We decided to have one inside instead! ; )
Thanks for the visit!
Smiles and sunshine to ya from Texas!!,
Sandra

I too adore Jasmine and have one in our back garden, along with lavendar, rosemary and mint. Our jasmine won't be out until later in the summer though :(

Hiya Sandra! I too love the scent of jasmines. We can find loads of them sold in strings by Indians at corner flower stalls because Indians love to wear them twined in their hair and also in their prayer paraphernalia. I used to buy a string or two of them and hang them in my car. The scent is wonderful.
Hi Sandra! Very nice pictures of the Jasmines. I can almost smell the flowers through the computer screen. Great to see all your posts and the wonderful stories that you share.
Cheers from around the globe.

wow! great shots...!
btw, i didn't know that jasmine grew in places other than india... thanx for enlightening me and also for sharing these beautiful images...!!
i live in the south of india, and the jasmine that grows in the city of mysore(which also boasts of the world famous mysore sandalwood) is exquisitely special and sacred and delightfully fragrant!! it's frequently used for worship and spiritual ceremonies... and of course invariably adorns the long hair of all beautiful indian women! :o)
Well, hello Dintoons! It's a pleasure to meet ya!! Thank you so much for the compliment! Your welcome! I'm glad you liked my pics of the jasmine! Yes, jasmine grows beautifully here in South Texas and also in the Hill Country in the San Antonio area in Texas. Jasmine is, as you say, exquisitely special to me and carries special meaning for me. I adore it's delightful fragrance. For me, it carries fond memories of times spent with my Mother who passed away 13 years ago. It also carries fond memories of another wonderful Lady who was like a mother to me. I can most certainly see why it would be used for worship and spiritual ceremonies.
Adorns long hair, huh? I happen to have long brown hair. Funny, huh? ; o )
Dintoons, it was an absolute pleasure meeting ya!!
Smiles and sunshine from Texas!,
Sandra
