The Tropical Tip of Texas!!

Hello!,

I took my first steps on that beautiful tropical tip of Texas a couple of weekends ago beside The Gulf of Mexico! It felt sooo good! I'll have to try that horseback riding along the beach and through the sand dunes someday! It sure looked like fun! I thought it was funny how they just rode right past some onlookers on the beach. The kids enjoyed themselves. I took them in regular clothes to try and get some pics of them. My daughter wasn't too happy about getting her pretty little skirt all wet. ; ( I sure enjoyed the peacefulness and the sunshine that day. It's always nice taking a stroll along the beach. Searching for shells to add to our collection is always fun, too! Hope you enjoy the pics! I didn't try too hard but I thought these pics were nice enough to share. ; )

Just thought I'd share some Texas sunshine!

Beautiful, Miss Sunshine Girl! I've been to the Gulf of Mexico on the coast of Alabama, and it was beautiful...similar to this. The water was warm and crystal clear. I miss that out here, water here is always cold and dangerous.

Nice pictures, Sandra! Thank you for giving us a peek into your world.

Big hugs to you,

Ana

Hey hey, Sandra! Very nice photos and those ones of the water make me want to go and jump in; I can almost hear the waves crashing in. I've seen the gulf of mexico only once when I was about ten, many moons ago, but that was on the Florida side.

Keep sharing those photos!

Hey hey, Bruce!! ; ) You know we just happen to be renting a place at the beach from some really nice folks from Michigan. We rented their place for the first time last year at this time and they were pleased with our stay and decided to let us rent it from them again. It really is a beautiful place to unwind!! ; ) I love to hear the sound of the waves crashing in on the shore!! I take tons of photos of my children but have not decided to share them online. ; ( You'll have to get yourself down this way again someday! You'll love it!

Thanks for the encouragement to continue posting! Sometimes I get really discouraged and feel like deleting this whole thing but then I get these lovely visits from people like you and it makes me want to continue. ; )

Keep visiting!! Lovely visiting with ya!!

Hey Sandra! So glad to see your new post. Now I feel like packing my stuff and head to the islands.
I love the pic with the horses/riders in it. Always wanted to ride a horse and at my first try, the horse bolted and I hung on for fear of being thrown off... never tried it again since then. It still is my wish to learn to ride a horse one day... and gallop at the beach like those lucky fellas in your picture.

Thanks for bringing your world to share.

Heaps of Hugs and sunshine smiles from the across the globe.

Divemuster......Hi!!!!!! Your welcome! I'm so happy that you enjoy what I have to share in my world. ; )I just love your visits!! I truly do!! You always know just what to say to make me feel happy! ; ) Thanks for that! Pack your stuff!! The island is awaiting ya...heehee!! I'll explore what's above the water and you can explore what's below the water...heehee!! Sound like a plan?! ; ) I've tried riding a horse only twice in my lifetime. I'm too afraid of getting bucked off to try it again. Although, I would love to take a romantic ride along the beach someday so I guess I'm going to have to stop being afraid. ; )

You know, recently, my 7 year old son told me that he wants to learn how to dive. Wow! He really surprised me! I would love for him to learn how. He wants to learn how to do those amazing flips off the diving board. One thing for sure is that he is doing way better than I ever did with his swimming! ; ) I taught my baby boy how to swim if you can believe that one! ; )

Lovely visiting with ya, Dive!!

Heaps of hugs and sunshine smiles from across the globe to you, too!!!!

really NICE pics!! :o)
they're so simple and natural and unpretentious... that's what makes them so beautiful...

the sea is always an inspiration! sad to say the city where i live has no seacoast...the nearest one being at least 7 hours drive away...
but at times, when i DO get to one, it's sheer bliss...
to sit on the beaches and SIMPLY WATCH the waters and the waves...
to simply see the perpetually joyful play of dancing waves...
to simply be...

and just watching the deep and calm immensity of the sea somehow takes you deep into the immense depths of silence and peace in one's own heart...
truly a wonderful feeling...as if one has touched the true core of one's own heart...

sandra, thanx for sharing these beautiful images! and do keep posting more of your inspired stuff!! :o)

I know I haven't commented for a while...working 3 days restricts my time, but I always check in from work.

Two days and we will be back in sunny Mallorca.

I'll try and pop onto the restaurant internet again and leave you a "holiday" comment like last year :)

Hope you are keeping well.

Love and hugs
